This course will teach how to use BPMN to create readable process models.

  • Understand why it is important to define guidelines for BPMN modeling
  • Follow best practices to create readable process models

Prerequisite Knowledge

This course presumes that the student has the following prerequisite knowledge:

  • Account for Camunda 8 SaaS
  • Basic knowledge of how to use the Camunda Modeler to model diagrams
  • Basic knowledge of BPMN including:
  • Tasks and task types
  • Events (Message, Timer, Condition, Error, Escalation)
  • Subprocesses and Call Activities
  • Gateways (XOR, parallel, event-based)
